This is Little Miracles’ 50 post! And in keeping with this year’s healthy resolution, this granola is perfectly apt to celebrate!
How was your weekend?
It barely felt like a weekend for me. It’s hard to relax when you’ve pushed yourself to an edge back to back through a busy week. I pretty much crashed every night to wake up exhausted the next morning. Finally got me some good sleep last night!
My week was long, exhausting and at the same time extremely short. Contradicting, I know, but it was the second wedding of the month and it was huge. About 8 events over the span of 5 days and since hubby and I were representing both the bride (my cousin) and groom’s (best friend’s brother) side, we were absolutely and thoroughly exhausted yesterday when it all came to an end!
I’d love nothing more then to spend a couple days by the beach, with very little phone service and the least amount of people required to detox. As much fun as weddings are, made even better with seeing friends everyday, you really need to get away and detox sometimes. Just so you can hear yourself think.

Hey, all my food lovers!
I’m baack and well, frankly quite exhausted!
Malaysia was fantastic, got a lot of sightseeing done and even got to see something that wasn’t on our itinerary!
Any Designated Survivor fans here?

June is nearly over, you guys. June.
I mean, how? and Where? and, and just how are the days flying by?
Last I checked, it was the beginning of May and now we’re almost halfway into summer and wedding season in India is upon us and oh my God- halfway through summer means half the year is over.
I literally just realised this.
Which is a bummer ’cause the next question that just flitted through my mind is, what exactly have I done with the first half of 2018?
Something to contemplate. Continue reading “Minty Strawberry Lemonade”
Hey, you guys!
The past ten days have been an absolute blur! When I think back all I can remember are flashes of moments that include card & board games on repeat and cooking with my two little nieces every afternoon.
It’s wonderful to cook with kids, but you really gotta remember to always keep a lot of free time ahead, especially if you’ve got a meticulous little angel, like my youngest niece, who’s full of a million and one questions. I just love working with children though- their outlook and ideas are so refreshing & entertaining! Continue reading “Fresh Strawberry & Chicken Salad”
So this is the recipe marking the end of Little Miracle’s Break Time event! This is hopefully going to become a yearly occurrence!
You guys made it fun and I hoped you enjoyed it as much as I did!
So, thank you!
How about we end this ten day journey on a healthy note?

This is the most healthy, easy to make soup that I have ever tried and made.

Let’s get back to being healthy, shall we?
Two days of indulgence should be enough for this week, am I right?

Is the week getting you guys down? Or is it getting away from you?
I can’t believe it is Wednesday already! I have had just so much on my plate at the moment that the days are just slipping on by.
But if those mid-week blues have creeped up on you and you’re just too exhausted after a long day of work, chores or just a long weekend, I’ve got just the fix!

It was International Hummus Day on the 13th, which I missed all due to being on a flight! But International Hummus Day is officially one of my favorite days of the year!
I have always loved this Mediterranean dish and even more so when I began to make it and realised just how healthy it was! Better yet, is the fact that it is so versatile, you can add so many different ingredients to make different versions of the same thing!

Hey, you guys! How’s it going?
I know I’ve been MIA for the past couple of weeks but it has been crazy. There was a family wedding we had to attend in Europe and then I flew to Ireland to visit my best friend from high school. I hadn’t seen her in five years. Five years.
Which is, funnily enough, about half the length of our relationship! Thank God for WhatsApp and video calls for making the world seem a lot smaller then it actually is. Imagine meeting someone during your travels, becoming good friends only to get back home and always wonder where they may be. I mean, yes there was letter writing, which I still enjoy doing, but still!
